The USDA Forest Service intends to award a sole source, firm fixed-price contract under FAR 13.5 to Norazza, Inc., a registered small business, for 84,960 units of its proprietary 'Enspire' E2X41, 24" X 48" pre-moistened body cleansing/sanitizing towels. The contract is estimated at $225,144 and will deliver the towels to thirteen fire incident support cache warehouses across the United States by December 1, 2024. The Contracting Officer has determined the cost to be fair and reasonable based on an independent government cost estimate and comparison to prior procurements. Market research concluded Norazza, Inc. is the sole source capable of meeting the Forest Service's unique requirements for this critical fire suppression equipment.
