FAQs 2.22.2021 22-DHA-MHSR
1. I have a few clarifying questions about the details of the LOI (listed below) and am hoping you are able to answer them.
I have the template for the letter of intent, however can you confirm the acceptable formatting parameters (font type, font size, headings, margins, etc.)?
How long can the title be? In other words, is there a max character limit to the titles?
Are letters of support (i.e., organizational resource manager, command officer) necessary for the LOI, or just for the full proposal?
a. RESPONSE: All proposals and LOIs should be in Calibri 11 Font, with 1” margins all around and bolded headings. (Format was provided in the last FAQ document dated 2.12.2021)
b. RESPONSE: Titles should be no more than 150 characters.
c. RESPONSE: Letters of support are required for full proposals.
2. We read the requirement of “Sub-awards and contracts may not exceed 30% of the total estimated budget”. Is that applicable to each subaward or the totality of the subawards (i.e., each subcontract cannot exceed 30% or if combined they cannot exceed 30%)?
a. RESPONSE: The sum total of all sub-awards and contracts cannot exceed 30% of the budget.
