About this file

This document is a Q&A file providing clarifications for a Signature Reduction Training course solicitation from the Department of the Air Force Pacific Air Forces. The training requirement includes providing hardened personal devices (Pixel 4a smartphones or equivalent) with secure, privacy-focused operating systems for 15 students, which they will keep and use for follow-on theater missions. The training must be conducted in-person within CONUS.

The contractor must provide their own facility and all AV equipment. The training should focus on INDOPACOM-specific information when possible. Students will come from various Air Force Specialty Codes (12S, 11S, 1Z2, 19Z, 14N, 1N0, 1N2, 1N8, 14F, 3N0, 17D) with varying levels of experience in signature reduction and digital security. The contractor is responsible for generating the Program of Instruction (POI) based on team mission requirements. No computer requirements are specified, and there are no shipping requirements. While expired CompTIA Security+ certifications are permitted for instructors, this should not be a determining factor.
