About this file
This is a Facilities Master Plan Update Design Services document for the Old Charlotte Highway (OCH) Campus in Monroe, North Carolina, prepared for a state and local contract opportunity. The project seeks an architectural firm to update the existing long-term master plan for the OCH Campus located at 1851 South Piedmont Street, Monroe, NC 28110. The scope of work encompasses a comprehensive facilities master plan update that will guide future development, improvements, and utilization of the campus infrastructure. The design services are intended to provide strategic planning and recommendations for the campus's physical development over an extended planning horizon.
The document establishes the framework for soliciting qualified architectural firms capable of delivering comprehensive master planning services. The selected firm will be responsible for analyzing current campus conditions, engaging stakeholders, identifying facility needs, and developing a detailed master plan that addresses long-term operational and capital improvement priorities. The engagement requires the successful firm to demonstrate experience in higher education or institutional campus planning, familiarity with North Carolina building codes and standards, and the ability to coordinate with multiple campus departments and constituencies throughout the planning process.
