STATEMENT OF NEED:
Title: Aerial Delivery Cabinets
Requiring Activity Name:
1.0 SCOPE
This requirement entails the replacement of the Aerial Delivery (AD) cabinets for
1.0.1 Background
The current AD cabinets for not rated to the weight required to store required equipment. The unit stores required items for building air drop pallets for student training on the
1.0.2 Objectives
The requirement is to replace the cabinets with ones of similar size but of a greater weight rating.
1.0.3 Specs
The cabinets should have steel housing. The reinforced base should have a wide opening for forklift access. The cabinets should be capable of being secured in a row together or stacked. The drawers should be double-wall construction, with steel guides capable of holding up to 400lbs.
