FAQ
Q) We are manufacturing 52.5Ah and 25.2 Volts batteries. Please let me know if you are looking for only batteries. If you know any Tug/Tow producing companies, we can collaborate with them to provide Battery Operated Equipment Tug/Tow.
A) For a quote to be technically acceptable, all line items listed on the solicitation must be provided. The responsibility to provide these items falls on the contractor.
Q) Is there any template for the quote?
A) Please reference page 2 of the Combo Synopsis for Instructions to Offerors.
Q) The NLT 60 days after contract date…Can this be modified to NLT 90 days?
A) The Statement of Need has been modified to reflect delivery NLT 90 days after date of Contract.
Q) Will the government please clarify if there is an incumbent providing service on this contract or is this level of effort a new need? If there is an incumbent, can the government please provide the most recent contract award number & contract value?
A) This is a commodities acquisition for a new requirement.
Q) What is the actual weight moved and/or lb force exerted in moving the test weights on the carts? If less, would you consider a load mover capable of that true requirement, or slightly above it, rather than meeting the technical specifications from that tug you chose to showcase in the solicitation? Also, is there any ramp grade to deal with over 3% and if so, what is that grade?
A) The steepest grade that the tow would need to be capable of is 4.5%. The tow must be capable of handling the following: Load Capacity: 60,000 lbs. Drawbar Pull- Normal: 4,000 lbs. All technical specifications listed in the SoN must be met in order to be considered for award.
