1 Scope / Line 1 Upgrade? Please confirm this is a new dispatch Console not an exisiting upgrade. We have attachd a diagram or the MCC7500 Console to be provided if new. Upgrade is a generic term for modification of an existing system. A new dispatch position is required under this effort per 3.1.1.1

1 Scope / Line 2 &3 Extension of the dispatch center? Please confirm this is a new dispatch Console not an exisiting upgrade See above. Console is an addition/expansion of the existing LMR system.

3.2.1 Dispatch Console / Operator Position Logging Recorder Interface: Do we need to provide Logging recorder, if so, what type, IP Logger, Analog Logger, Telephony Logger, How many Channels / Talk Groups and Telephone lines need to be recorded? No logging recorder is required under this effort.

3.1.1.1 MCC 7500 Dispatch Position Harris Radios AN/PRC: Are these government owned radios? The radios identified here are to help scope the interface. Radios are Government owned unless called out for purchase under this contract.

5.3 Frequency Analysis and Planning Can the government confirm the Government requirements for a frequency analysis? Frequency analysis and planning support is required to ensure installed radios do not cause interference at the LaMosca site.

5.3 · Coverage analysis What does the government Require for the Coverage Analysis ? Coverage analysis is intended to show a general map of the new sites coverage area. Simulations need to be ran at varing altitude. The 58th SOW will have to provide operational flight levels of concern.

5.3 Traffic (loading) analysis Loading Analysis for what data feature? This is a leacy comment designed more for LMR systems and can be stricken.

5.3 Fleet map/talk group development The government is not requiring new subscribers. Is fleet mapping service still required? Please elaborate Fleet mapping will not be required under this effort.

5.3 · Acceptance testing, to include coverage testing Acceptance testing is fine, but coverage testing? Please elaborate This will have to be worked with the 58th SOW as coverage testing will require use of government transport. The goal is to provide a general map with statistical sampling that shows the new sites coverage area.

3.1.1.2 Networking Government to furnish the Ethernet connectivity (Dedicated / Not Shared) between the Dispatch Site and the LMR Master Site Government will provide IP connectivity between the sites. IP connactivity is via commercial Internet using Sacred Winds as the ISP.

4 Site Prepration GuideLines If a site is not R-56 compliant, will the contractor be responsible for following R-56 Guidelines or only responsible to follow National Electric Code Grounding? Installations concerning Motorola equipment must be R-56 to ensure warranty coverge. NEC guidelines are acceptable for the LaMosca site. R-56 is provided as a general overall best practice document.

3.1.1 WOC 1017 Will the Government please provide overhead drawing of WOC bldg. 1017 showing where radio comm room C22 is relative to building perimeter and including existing conduit pathway from radio comm room C22 to roof? Picture attached. From my memory, there aren’t any direct conduit runs from the C22 area to the Comm room, nor from the Comm room to the roof. There are conduit sleeves in each wall to allow cable penetration from the roof to westside exterior of the building and inside the Comm room itself (red circles). I think all existing cables are just laying inside the ceiling tiles

3.1.1 WOC 1017 There are several empty masts on top of 1017 on the south side of the building. Can those be utilized for this project? Yes, if the masts are in servicable condition.

3.1.1.2 Networking Since the La Mosca site requires a VPN between that commercial site and the USAF building 20420 site (gov network), will USAF IT engineers provide the necessary configuration for ATO with the suggested Cisco routers since this is attaching to a USAF network? The network is not attaching to a USAF network.
