This Industry Day is for planning and market research purposes only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bid (IFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP). Additional Information will be provided if/when a solicitation is posted. Please be advised that funding has not yet been secured for this requirement. Your response to this Notice will be treated as information only.

It shall not be used as a proposal. This notice is intended to help the Government determine the appropriate acquisition strategy and confirm whether solutions are available.

Event Agenda & Parameters

September 17, 0800-0900: Check-in virtually.

September 17, 0900–0945: Government Presentation.

From 0900 to 0945, the Government will present the requirement's objectives. Questions received will be documented, and the government's official responses will be published on SAM.gov in a subsequent amendment.

September 17–18: Vendor Demonstrations.

Following the initial Government presentation, vendors will conduct one-on-one solution demonstrations. The Government will assign these time slots, accommodating requested preferences when possible, though specific times cannot be guaranteed.

All vendor sessions must adhere to the following parameters:

1. Briefings must not exceed 15 minutes.

2. The Government will reserve 10 minutes for questions immediately following each briefing.

3. All content must directly align with the Statement of Objectives (SOO) attached to this posting.

AFTC wants to hear how your solution addresses the questions below. However, you may structure your presentation as you see fit, as there are no constraints beyond those outlined in the Statement of Objectives (SOO). We are actively seeking innovative solutions to achieve our goals.

1. How does your solution accommodate subcontractors?

2. Does your organization possess the cybersecurity personnel and product maturity required to successfully navigate the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Authority to Operate (ATO) process?

3. Does your proposal acknowledge that this requirement is entirely distinct from the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)?

4. Can the DAF acquire your solution such that all Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) resides strictly on a DAF-owned network?

5. What is the estimated cost of your solution?

6. Is your solution holistic, providing comprehensive services such as training, governance, and help desk support (comparable to the full suite of services AFNET provides its users)?

7. Does your company demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the technical requirements—including applicable cloud or on-premises specifications—for a DAF-owned network enclave capable of supporting ITAR requirements?

8. What is your proposed field-testing plan?

9. How will your solution scale to support up to 500 participating contractors and subcontractors?

10. What is your operational approach for each use case, with specific emphasis on use cases

#1, # 5, #6, and #7?

11. How will your organization remain current with continuously evolving DAF network requirements?

12. Note: Please check back later for additional questions.
