About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file providing clarification on contract requirements for Barco equipment procurement.

The Q&A addresses three key inquiries: (1) the contractor is responsible for delivery of product only, with no installation or calibration required, as the government's technicians have completed Barco training and are certified to perform any necessary equipment swaps; (2) contractors must include a separate line item for tariffs in their pricing; and (3) the specified Barco models are current and available for purchase as of January 23rd, with no substitutions accepted regardless of model availability concerns raised by potential bidders.

Text version

Questions and Answers Q: Will there be any installation and/or calibration required by the contractor? or is this simply a hand off situation?

A: This will be a delivery of product only. Our Techs have taken the Barco training and are certified to handle any swaps needed.

Q: Should a line item for tariffs be included?

A: Yes

Q: It looks like both those units are discontinued units. Do you want me to quote closest replacements or do you have 2 other current models that are current with Barco?

A: BARCO confirmed on 23 Jan that the requested models are not discontinued. We are not accepting substitutions for this requirement.
