About this file

This file is a Questions and Answers document for RFQ FA875126Q0004, addressing bidder inquiries regarding scope clarifications for pavement repair and striping work at a parking lot facility.

The Q&A document clarifies that striping work on Brooks Road, the 18-car parking lot, and the 12-car parking lot consists of striping only, with no pavement repair required in those areas. For the 152-car parking lot, the scope includes full-depth pavement construction to be determined following milling operations; because precise quantities cannot be established during the bidding phase due to unknown subsurface conditions, a change order process will be utilized for any additional full-depth repairs identified during execution. Payment for completed work will be submitted by the contractor through the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) system, with registration details to be provided to the selected awardee following contract award.

Repair Pavement Parking Lot B106 & Striping

RFQ FA875126Q0004

Questions & Answers

1. The work on Brooks Rd., 18 car parking lot, and 12 car parking lot are striping only?

Response: Yes, the 18 and 12 car parking lots are striping only.

2. On the 152 car parking lot, plans call for some full depth construction, which will be determined after milling. There are no dimensions to obtain an estimate as to an area. Would a change order be issued?

Response: Yes, in the event that full-deep repairs are needed, a change order would need to be issued. We understand that the quantities for “said repairs” could not be properly identified during the bidding process.

3. How would payment be made?

Response: Invoices will be submitted through Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) by the contractor. Information for WAWF registration will be provided to the eventual awardee.
