About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a Request for Information (RFI) regarding the Next-Generation Air Operations Center (AOC) Weapon System, issued on 11 March 2026.
The RFI is open to both small and large businesses and does not constitute a small business set-aside. The document clarifies that the Program Announcement schedule is subject to change with no specific industry engagement event currently scheduled. Respondents must address the Requested Information posted on SAM.gov and provide responses to seven technical questions contained in Attachment 3, as well as Program/Contract Management Requirements cited in SAM.gov. The word "following" in Question 7 should be replaced with "preceding" when referencing technical questions. Companies without Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification are not precluded from responding to the publicly available portions of the RFI on SAM.gov. Regarding AI platform usage, if a company's purpose-built large language model platform is CMMC Level 2 compliant, authorized to host Controlled Unclassified Information, operates in a dedicated tenant environment, does not retain prompts for model training, and does not use uploaded data to improve foundation models, use of such a platform for internal analysis and proposal development is permissible under the Documentation Request and Disclaimer Form Paragraph 3.
