Questions and Answers to support FA8650-25-R-0001 AFRL/DSC Information Technology Services Support (ITSS):
1. Is this a new requirement or is there an incumbent contract in place? If so, can you provide us the contract details?
Answer: Yes, there is an incumbent, FA8650-20-F-4048. The contract details are, Contract Number: FA8650-20-F-4048, Total Contract Value: $9,572,985.41
2. Is there an expected period of performance, and acquisition timeline?
Answer: The contract PoP will be for one base year and 3 one year option periods.
3. Can you provide an estimated number of FTE?
Answer: The onus is on the offeror to provide an estimate of FTE that can complete the work within the Performance Work Statement.
4. Can you clarify your instruction, “2. In your response, you must address how your product meets the product characteristics specified above.”. Should we assume you are referring to how the contractor or our company will meet the requirements in the provided PWS?
Answer: Yes, please explain how your company will meet the requirements in the provided PWS.
5. Has the government already identified a vendor for the 8(a) sole-source award for the subject requirement?
Answer: We have a few options, but we released the Sources Sought to ensure that we choose the best vendor to support the requirement. If you have any other questions, please let me know. Thanks.
6. Is the AFRL planning any procurement actions (e.g. Industry Day) for the subject's opportunity before the RFP is released?
Answer: We will not be having any additional procurement actions before the RFP is released.
7. Will a Facility Clearance (FCL) be required for either the prime contractor or any subcontractors under this opportunity?
Answer: Yes, FCL will be required for either the prime contractor or the subcontractor.
