About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Lifecycle Management Center at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. The RFI seeks to identify potential sources capable of providing a small, lightweight cross domain solution (CDS) to pass data and video between SOCOM classified networks and unclassified/partner force networks.
The key system requirements include ruggedness for airdrops and rough terrain, signature management, cable management, 80% materiel availability for 30 days, 80% operational availability, NSA-approved security, and the ability to effectively exchange unclassified and classified data, TAK data, and video. Respondents are asked to provide product information, cost estimates, delivery timelines, and other details to demonstrate their capabilities. Responses are due by December 9, 2024 and should be limited to 15 pages. The government may conduct additional discussions, site visits, or demonstrations to further understand proposed solutions.

2. BACKGROUND AND SCOPE
The United States (US) Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance & Special Operations Forces (ISR & SOF) Directorate, Special Warfare (SW) Program Office (AFLCMC/WISN) is conducting market research to identify possible sources capable of providing a small form factor, lightweight, cross domain solution (CDS) for Internet Protocol traffic
3. CAPABILITY GAP
These must be capable of passing Curser on Target (CoT) data, TAK data CoT Protocol Buffers (ProtoBuff) and video between SOCOM Classified networks and Unclass / Partner force networks. The system must be ATO/ATC for connection to SOFTNET Secret domains and all fielded radios for USFOR to include COTS radios typically allocated to partner force Trellisware (TW 950). Forward edge cross domain solutions will allow deployed teams to integrate partner forces into the kill chain, rapidly closing the chain efficiently and effectively through low-latency Machine-to-Machine inclusion of sensor data and intelligence.
