About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation FA860126Q0121 regarding a Furniture Project at Facility 20557.

The document addresses six key inquiries from potential offerors. Alternate manufacturers and products are acceptable provided they meet or exceed stated dimensions, finishes, functions, warranties, and performance requirements. A controlling DWG file (02-a F20557 Furniture Project 2026SH038) exists beyond the posted scope and can be obtained by emailing arlyn.argueta.1@us.af.mil. Requirements regarding pre-award site surveys, Government design approval, and submission of drawings or manufacturer cut sheets are detailed in SOW Section 1.0. All quoted prices must include design, freight, receiving, inside delivery, assembly/installation, debris removal, and base-access costs, with further details in SOW sections 2.4 and 7.0. Delivery and installation access restrictions, badging requirements, working hours, loading-dock constraints, and advance delivery notice requirements are specified in SOW Section 6.0.

The evaluation methodology employs an Acceptable/Unacceptable technical rating based on compliance with SOW or PWS requirements, with specification sheets or capability statements required for commercial items and services evaluation. Price evaluation is based on fair and reasonable determinations derived from market research and independent government estimates. Award selection prioritizes the lowest evaluated price among all offers rated acceptable for non-cost factors.
