About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) memorandum for Solicitation FA8601-25-Q-0055, addressing clarifications for an Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 and Site Security Management (SSM) physical security training contract. The Q&A covers eight key questions about course length, student composition, course prerequisites, and training intent, providing detailed responses from the Contracting Officer at the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC).
Key clarifications include that the training courses are: limited to 40 hours of instruction over 3-5 days, not required to be taken in sequence, intended for security personnel with varying knowledge levels, and will have approximately 25 students per course. The document indicates the government will update the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and solicitation to reflect these clarifications, and remains open to potential price adjustments due to factors like inflation. The solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside for professional and management development training at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, with a period of performance from August 2025 to September 2028.
