QUESTIONS
Question 1: SOW does not clearly state contractor is responsible for electrical work, but the solicitation CLIN sheet reads as if it is to be included. Who is responsible for electrical work to support these Privacy Pods?
ANSWER: No electrical work should be required; customer will have a wall outlet available per unit.
Both unit specifications call for Min. 10ft power cord (plug in).
Question 2: For PP1, will wood exterior be acceptable?
ANSWER: No; laminate or painted/powder coated metal is required.
Question 3: For PP1, will manual door closure with an exposed hinges and handle be acceptable?
ANSWER: Yes, acceptable as long as the dB rating meets requirements.
Question 4: For PP1, will non fixed seating options be acceptable?
ANSWER: Yes, as long as it is not a safety/tripping hazard.
Question 5: For PP3, will wood exterior be acceptable?
ANSWER: No, laminate or painted/powder coated metal is required.
Question 6: For PP3, will manual door closure be acceptable?
ANSWER: Yes, acceptable as long as the dB rating meets requirements.
Question 7: The request for a fixed stool in this application seems to be a specification error—please confirm?
ANSWER: Correct, this was a double line; it should be a 2-person unit and not a fixed stool—please follow the specification in the SOW as 2 Sofas (facing opposite—see layout)
