About this file
This document consists of questions and answers related to a federal solicitation for a density meter. The solicitation (FA8601-24-Q-0086) is for a commercial density meter, as described in the attached Statement of Work. The Government is seeking a product that meets the specifications in the SOW and will award to the responsible offeror with the lowest priced, technically acceptable quote. Offerors must submit a detailed response describing the proposed equipment and how they can fulfill all requirements. The solicitation is set aside for small businesses under NAICS code 334516. Quotations are due by 1:00 PM EST on May 23, 2024, and must be submitted via email. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions or make no award if prices are not fair and reasonable. Q6: Would your sample require heating before being measured?
A6: No
Q7: What is your desired measuring range –OR- what is the typical density range of your sample?
A7: 0-3 g/cm^3 typical measurements 0.4 – 1.5 g/cm^3
