SYNOPSITATION FA8601-22-R-0042

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

DATED: 01 SEP 2022

QUESITON 1: The SOW states "No less than 25 single rooms Friday and no less than 25 single rooms Saturday" - do you have an estimate or some historical data on how many rooms average they will need per month.

• ANSWER: The requirement is identified in the Statement of Work (SOW), at a minimum, a hotel needs to have the capacity to accommodate 25 rooms on a Friday and

Saturday, each month. We are not guaranteeing that the 25 rooms will be utilized each month, it will be as needed. The development of the 25 room number is based on historicals.

QUESITON 2: Can the rooms be spread out in to several hotels? If so how many different hotels and do those hotels need to be in a specific proximity to one another?

• ANSWER: The Government is currently seeking offers from hotels and the Government will decide which hotel is utilized based on the amount of BPAs issued in accordance with the synopsitation. The only proximity requirement is that each hotel should be within 25 miles of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio—as identified in the SOW.

QUESITON 3: What month and year are you expecting lodging to begin?

• ANSWER: 1 October 2022 is when the BPAs are anticipated to start.

QUESITON 4: Approximately how many Doubles are you anticipating on each call order?

• ANSWER: It is unknown at this time, as the requirements will arise as needed, and the calls will identify which type of room (single/double) is required. If this question is asked in relation to pricing, we are only asking for the rate for 1 double room for 1 night.

QUESITON 5: In the SOW - Invoice payment is mentioned by Government Credit Card and WAWF is indicated as well. Please clarify how payment will be made for this specific

Solicitation.

• ANSWER: The monthly transactions will generally be placed by Authorized Callers using their Government Purchase Card (GPC)—this is identified as monthly “calls”. This method is going to be the primary method of payment.

When the Government anticipates a call exceeding $25,000.00, the Government will issue a contract action—called a “Call Order.” When a Call Order is issued, then the vendor will be paid by electronic transfer via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) in accordance with DFARS 252.232-7006. The DFARS clause will identify the proper invoice routing procedures.

QUESITON 6: Can you tell me which weekends they schedule their drills on from

2022-2023 and will a schedule be provided at contract award so BPA holders can anticipate when availability may be needed?

• ANSWER: The tentative FY23 UTA schedule is attached to this document and any future updates to the schedule can be found at:
