Question #1: The specifications call for retractable axles. The Nifty TM50 no longer has this option. Are these updated specifications acceptable?
Answer: Yes. NiftyLift used to have a front axle, or axle that the ball hitch is attached to, that would slide out and give better balance for both the arms and for turning. Now, they have the 4 outriggers that fold out on the sides like a back hoe to give more stabilization.
Question #2: The specs call for a 500 lb platform capacity. With the new ANSI requirements, the Nifty TM50 has a platform capacity of 440 lbs. Are these updated specifications acceptable?
Answer: Yes. The weight limit is the weight limit for the machine itself. If the specifications says not to exceed 440 pounds then we should not exceed 440 pounds because that is the rule.
