Access Control System 9 September 2020

AFLCMC/PZI Installation Contracting Division requires an access control system for two doors. Also, an optional handicap door opener for door 111.

Requirements:

1. Provide and install an access control system for two doors including all software, hardware and electrical work. Only need a two door Controller because no expansion is planned. Backup software disk if available.

a. Provide key pad /Proximity/scan reader for Governments Common Access Cards (CAC) for each door.

b. Current door locks shall remain functional to unlock the doors.

c. The ability to manual lock the doors due to an emergency or any other reason using the current crash bars or install panic/emergency buttons placed at each door.

d. Functionally of the doors with the current handicap door opener (Room 109 front door):

i. During normal business hours with the doors unlock the existing handicap buttons shall work by as they do today. A person would press a separate handicap button for going in and out.

ii. After business hours with the doors locked access is gain via current key, pin number or CAC. The door would unlock and the person would press a separate handicap button for going in.

iii. If there is a loss of power the access control system locks down but the crash bar will still function without power.

iv. Able to program the access times when the doors should be unlocked and locked daily. For example: Mon – Fri – unlock from 0700 – 1600 and locked 1600 to 0700 and Sat – Sun and Holidays locked all day

2. Optional handicap door opener for door 111. Same functionally as item 1d above. (Price separately)

3. The location of the doors are in Area A, Bldg 1 (see attached pictures)

a. Room 109 front double doors

b. Room 111 front door

4. Controller must be located at front desk in room 109.

5. Government will provide non‐network computer (Windows 10 and has 8GB RAM)

6. Provide brochure and specification of system.

7. Provide maintenance and troubleshooting guide

8. Provide warranty information

9. Preform functionally test

10. Provide finalization training to 2‐4 people

11. Provide a completion timeline

12. Contractor shall cleanup work area included drywall dust on baseboard and floor.

13. Payment method: Will be Government Purchase Card (GPC) at completion of the installation.

14. Work hours: Monday – Friday 0730 – 1600 no federal holidays or weekends or other arranged hours.

15. Sign and return the FAR 52.204‐24 Representation Regarding Certain Telecommunications and

Video Surveillance Services or Equipment (AUG 2020) (attached)
