Solicitation FA8601-19-Q-A104
Catholic Religious Services
Q & A:
Q. Does the Government intend to continue to have 1 Catholic Mass at the Prairies Chapel on Saturday and 2 at the Kitty Hawk Chapel on Sunday?
A. Yes
Q. Currently there are at least 2 CTOF (Chapel Tithes and Offerings Fund) contracted musicians. Will those musicians continue under CTOF contracts going forward?
A. For now, yes. CTOF contracts are a bit more fluid, based on need.
Q. Would the government consider adding the CTOF contracted musicians into this Synopsitation, resulting in 2 Music Directors and at least 4 Musicians?
A. Not a consideration for this solicitation.
Q. Sections 3.4.9, 4.4.9, 5.2.9 and 6.2.10 refer to the contractor being available to attend conferences clinics and workshops, including some that require travel. Would those conferences/workshops and associated travel be Cost Reimbursable under this contract?
A. The contract is solicited as a Firm-Fixed Price, there are no cost reimbursable CLINs for the subject contract. Any travel will be paid for by the requiring activity.
Q. Considering Paragraph 11.3 – is the wording in 4.4.12 and 5.2.12 redundant?
A. The paragraphs are complementary.
Q. PWS does not require contractor attendance at Parish Council or Worship Commission meetings? Is that an oversight?
A. It is not a firm requirement, but can be considered optional.
Q. Missing section 6.1.1, assume that is the same as for other positions – 18 years of age or older?
A. Yes, PWS updated to include this requirement.
Q. Missing section 6.2.1. Unsure if it is a numbering issue, or wording missing?
A. This is a numbering issue – updated PWS has addressed this issue.
Q. Paragraph 3.2.1, 4.2.1, 5.3 and 6.3 references paragraphs that do not exist in the document.
A. Updated PWS has addressed these issues to include proper references.
Q. Sections 3 & 4 have a x.3 and x.3.1 – similar paragraphs do not exist in Sections 5 & 6. 5 & 6 should mirror 3 & 4.
A. Updated PWS has included these paragraphs.
Solicitation FA8601-19-Q-A104
Q. Sections 3.4.10, and 6.2.11 refer to reviewing new music. Does the Chapel have a subscription to GIA Music, OCP, SongSelect, and/or a CCLI license?
A. The Chapel has a CCLI license.
Q. Would the Chapel consider purchasing subscriptions either internally or under this contract as a Cost Reimbursable item to better evaluate and incorporate new music?
A. Will be considered internally, no cost options are included on this contract.
Q. Does section 16 (Volunteer Management Requirements) apply to Choir members who may opt to join any of the music ministries and would the Contractor be responsible for that or would the Chaplain’s Office?
A. This will be coordinated with the Chapel Office. Volunteer requirements only apply to awarded contractor.
Q. Is there a page limit for the Synopsitation response?
A. No
