1. Under the Freedom of Information Act I request to know what the range of bids were on the last go around for this project.

We are unable to divulge any information regarding the bid results from FA8601-11-R-0101.

Because there was no award made on the project the information is considered confidential and not public knowledge IAW FOIA Exemption 3, 10 USC 2305(g).

2. Is an RV allowed to be parked next to facility 34019 for the duration of the project? If so can a 110 Volt hookup be provided?

Yes an RV is allowed to be parked next to the facility, and CE will work with the contractor for the

110v hookup.

3. What is the requirements, security wise, to get our workers onto the base for this project?

There will need to be an official letter drafted from the contractor to the contracting office of the people who be requiring passes including their full name and SSN. Additionally, an AF Form 1440 will need to be filled out and sent to the contracting office for approval for each individual.

4. Which gate can we use for access for the boiler plant?

For everyday access you can use Gate 26C. For deliveries and heavy machinery (any vehicle larger than a large pick-up truck) use Gate 16A. Reference FA8601-12-R-0024 Page 12 ASC/PKO H-002 Delivery Procedures Commercial Vehicles.

5. If awarded this work are we allowed to work 4-10 hour work days with Friday, Saturday & Sunday off?

Reference the posted Specifications page 7 paragraph G: “On site working hours for the contractor will be Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

No on site work shall be performed on Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal holidays unless otherwise stated or shown. If the contractor wishes to work during periods other than above, permission must be requested from the contracting officer at least 48 hours in advance of his desire to work during these periods.”

6. Can a gang box be stored in facility 34019 for safe keeping?

Yes.

7. Will the soot blower need to reconnected or have the line blanked off?

No, the soot blower does not need to be reconnected. It will no longer be used.

8. Besides License, registration and insurance, what will be required to get vehicle passes?

At this time there isn’t any additional requirements necessary for vehicle passes.
