Failure to obtain this testing will result in the 402 EMXSS/MXDEL Hybrid Lab losing its DLA certification. Only labs approved by DLA may perform the testing. No government facility is approved for this testing. The Government will provide Hybrid Microelectronic Devices for QML/PI Testing to the contractor.
1.1 The contractor shall, upon receipt of microelectronic devices, perform Resistance to Soldering Heat testing per MIL-STD-883, Methods 2036.
1.2 The contractor shall return the parts to Robins AFB after Method 2036 testing for in-house examination before continuing with the remaining tests. Shipping will be billed to the government (FOB Origin).
1.3 The contractor shall, upon receipt of microelectronic devices, perform Temperature cycling testing per MIL-STD-883, Method 1010; QML condition C, 100 cycles.
1.4 The contractor shall perform Mechanical Shock testing per MIL-STD-883, Method 2002;
QML condition B, Y1 direction.
1.5 The contractor shall perform Constant Acceleration testing per MIL-STD-883, Method 2001; QML condition 5,000g’s, Y1 direction.
1.6 The contractor shall perform Random Vibration testing per MIL-STD-883, Method 2026, QML condition F.
1.7 The contractor shall perform Seal (fine and gross) testing per MIL-STD-883, Method 1014.
1.8 The contractor shall perform Particle Impact Noise Detection (PIND) testing per MIL- STD-883, Method 2020; QML condition A, 1 pass.
1.9 The contractor shall provide an electronic test report to the government POC within five working days after completion of each sample lot submitted for testing. Official test report will be shipped with returned devices to the government POC.
