The government has not determined the level of security clearance or foreign participation for this requirement. Respondents are advised that participation in this market research does not guarantee future solicitation or contract award. The government will not reimburse expenses related to this survey.
The document includes a Contractor Capability Survey that requests information about the company, its capabilities and past experience, quality processes, software development, and ability to address engineering services requirements. Responses are due by the close of business. The government encourages participation from both large and small businesses, including joint ventures and teaming arrangements. No set-aside decision has been made, but the government will analyze small business responses to determine the final acquisition strategy.

This requirement is for a software update which corrects deficiencies and provides enhancements to the affected software. The software upgrade will be installed on 28 Air Force TH-1H aircraft. The Multi-Function Display aids flight crew by implementing multiple SCRs for the MFDs, including fixes to multiple annunciator displays to include warnings, cautions, advisories and exceedances, addition of additional available information to the altitude indication, and modifying/adding certain data storage protocols and retrieval capabilities. This software update is required due to help aid flight crew in operating as well as maintaining the aircraft. The software that is currently in the MFD is the original software that was installed when the UH-1H to TH-1H conversion occurred from 2008 to 2013. MFD's were updated with TCTO 1H-1(T)H-526 and their present update is with TCTO 1H-1(T)H-545. The MFD's is undergoing a screen display changewhich could change the part number and/or change the software version.
