CDRL EXHIBIT A001 ATTACHMENT

CONTRACTOR COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK (CCN) FOR

COMMERCIAL ASSET VISIBILITY AIR FORCE (CAV AF) AND

SUPPLY REQUISITIONING

1. GENERAL INFORMATION:

1.1 The purpose of this attachment is to provide the specific conditions, hardware specifications, and communications interface to support contractor End Item and/or Government Furnished Materiel (GFM) reporting requirements and supply requisitions.

1.2 The CCN/CAV AF system software provides the Air Force contractors, having aircraft, engine, or equipment repair contracts, the capability to electronically process End Item production data and GFM transactions

1.3 Initial CAV AF training will be provided by the contracting ALC. Contact 406 SCMS/GUMA, Donna Allred, (478)327-6602 or Timothy Anderson, (478)926-2760. Any follow-up training will be the responsibility of the contractor.

1.4 In the future, those commercial vendors having XML capability on their in-house systems will be able to transmit CML batch files via a DLA/DLMSO format known as CICA XML. Notifications will be sent out as system capabilities are upgraded to include XML batch file processing.

2. HOST LOCATIONS:

2.1 A web server located at Multimax Corporation in Beavercreek, Ohio, close to Wright Patterson Air Force Base, will act as host for CAV AF on-line transaction processing. The contractor shall be required to complete a DD Form 2875, System Authorization Access Request (SAAR) for security access prior to gaining access to the CAV AF internet website. The DD Form 2875 must be returned to 406 SCMS/GUMA, 460 Richard Ray Blvd, Ste 200, Robins AFB GA 31098-1813, ATTN: Donna Allred, for userid. The contractor must provide a return email address and/or FAX number. (See paragraph 4.5)

2.2 The web address for online CAV AF access is: https://www.cavaf.com/cavweb

2.3 The DLA/DAASC front-end computer at Wright Patterson AFB, OH will act as host for GFM requisitions and MILSTRIP status processed through CAV AF as batch End of Day (EOD) and Beginning of Day (BOD) transactions.

3. TECHNICAL CONSIDERATIONS:

3.1 HARDWARE. CAV Version 7.0 is designed to be accessible using Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE6) v6.0 or higher or Netscape 4.75 or higher on a Windows 2000 or XP platform. IE6 is suggested and contains the 128-bit encryption capability, and DoD certification. The following hardware is suggested as a minimum to adequately support CAV reporting with a minimum system requirement using Windows 2000 or XP:

· IBM compatible PC (1.5 GHZ Pentium)

· 512 MB RAM

· 20 GB hard drive

· LCD monitor

· 56K BPS or faster data transmission modem, or connection WAN, mouse. Since an ISP is really suggested for web access, suggest that DSL or cable modem be used to increase speed of transfer for web screens, or a high speed dial up capability

· Laser Printer, 4 PPM or faster, 300 DPI resolution (must support true type font)

· Surge suppressor or UPS with built in surge protection

3.2 SOFTWARE.

The following software is required to accomplish CAV web-based reporting:

· Operating system: Windows 2000 or XP

· Web browser: Internet Explorer, Version 6.0 or higher, Netscape 4.75 or higher is also compatible, but not recommended for Air Force use (must support 128-bit encryption)

There are two CAV reporting connection options using a contractor provided PC. They include:

· Connect to the CAV server via internet access

· Connect to the CAV server via local internet service provider

Restrictions: CAV web-based software will reside on the Air Force mid-tier server. CAV software changes will be made at the mid-tier server and they will be available to the repair vendor upon log on to the CAV system. Changes to CAV software by the commercial repair vendors are not authorized.

4. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITY

4.1 The contractor shall be responsible for the maintenance of the hardware and supplies (paper, ink, ribbons, extra disks, etc) to keep the PC system operational and compatible with the host computer.

4.2 The contractor shall use the CCN/CAV AF reporting system to report all End Item and GFM transactions. These transactions shall be entered into CAV AF on a real time basis or as changes generate, but not later than 24 hours from the date of occurrence.

4.3 If GFM is authorized, a GFM issue transaction will require a GFM turn-in transaction of the same NIIN within 60 days to prevent an overcharge of materiel for end customers. Contractor shall input a GFM turn-in transaction within 60 days of an issue transaction of the same NIIN. The turn-in transaction applies to ERRC T or C items.

4.4 System failures that cannot be corrected within 24 hours shall be reported to the contracting ALC by the fastest means possible. Email or call donna.allred@us.af.mil or timothy.anderson@us.af.mil, telephone numbers: (478)327-6602 or (478)926-2760.

4.5 CAV AF is a web-based system and therefore vulnerable to inputs from anyone who has a valid userid and password. To prevent unauthorized inputs as well as unauthorized disclosure of production data, the contractor is responsible for notifying 406 SCMS/GUMA when the CAV AF point of contact is terminated or otherwise no longer performing CAV AF inputs. Notification will be made within seven (7) days.

5. SYSTEM AUTHORIZATION ACCESS REQUEST (DD Form 2875, SAAR)

5.1 The requestor must complete a DD Form 2875, SAAR, to gain access to the CAV AF transaction reporting system. The following procedures explain how to complete the DD Form 2875(April 2005):

· Type of Request: Initial

· Date: Current date

· System Name: CAV AF

A change password screen will appear to input a new password upon first attempt to access CAV AF. The new password should be at least eight (8) characters and contain upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters.
