SUPPLIES OR SERVICES AND PRICES/COSTS

B.1. GENERAL: The Contractor (independently, and not as an agent of the Government) shall furnish all necessary personnel, labor, supplies, and materials as required to perform the requirements described herein. The objective of this contract is for the repair of ALR56M Noncrystal Oscillators, NSN 596301362 9731 and Frequency Converters, NSN 5955013624598. These items are components of the Superheterodyne Receiver (SHR) Line Replace Unit (LRU) that is part of the ALR56M installed on F16 and C130I aircraft.

B.2. CONTRACT TYPE: This is a 2Year Requirements type contract, as described by FAR 16.503. This contract authorizes use of the Firm Fixed Price (FFP) for all Contract Line Items (CLINs) and are defined as follows.

ORDERING PERIODS: In accordance with the clause in Section I of this contract, DFARS 252.216 7006 Ordering, orders may be issued hereunder for a period of two (2) years from the effective date of the contract, subject to the ordering limitations found as stated in Section I, FAR Clause 52.216 19 – Order Limitations. Orders issued hereunder shall utilize the Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) representing the period in effect at the time of order execution for purposes of pricing. The ordering periods are associated with each CLIN series as defined below:

BASIC ORDERING PERIOD: CLINs 0001 thru 0005 and ELINs A001 – A008 comprise Ordering Period I.

This Ordering Period shall be effective the date of contract award through 365 calendar days. The BEQ for each line item is identified in the description of that line item. The Government may require the delivery of increased quantities of items, the exact quantity of which cannot be determined in advance.

ORDERING PERIOD I: CLINs 1001 thru 1005, and ELINs B001 – B005 comprise Ordering Period I. This Ordering Period shall be effective 366 calendar days from the date of contract award through 730 calendar days, which follows the basic ordering period. The BEQ for each line item is identified in the description of that line item. The Government may require the delivery of increased quantities of items, the exact quantity of which cannot be determined in advance.

B.3. AUTHORITY TO ISSUE ORDERS: This contract does not allow for decentralized ordering.

B.4. In accordance with the attached CAV AF Reporting Requirements (see the document listed in Section J), the Contractor shall include a DD13481 when assets are shipped. DCMA Quality Assurance Representatives (QARs) will not approve or sign the DD13481, but will ensure a DD13481 is included with each returned asset. If a DD13481 is not included with each returned asset, DCMA will not sign the receiving report (DD250).
