1. Do you need keyboards? The CF-33 can be slightly misleading online. It can be sold as only a tablet. The keyboard is not standard. There are docks for just tablet only and docks for the tablet while attached to the keyboard. Fire and EMS often go with tablet only but it is of course case-by-case. Whether the end-user needs keyboards or not is an important question as it determines which dock is applicable. There are docks for just tablet only and docks for the tablet while attached to the keyboard. Fire and EMS often go with tablet only but it is of course case-by-case.

Answer: We would not need the keyboards with the tablets. As we have also done our homework regarding this topic and concluded that the keyboard would not be beneficial to our mission.

2. Will they need external antennas for the imbedded 4G LTE?

Answer: Yes, we would require the external antennas for the 4G LTE. The tablets will be connected to our Verizon account.

3. What flat surface area would they want to mount on?

Answer: Please see the attached pictures regarding mounting. This will give you a better idea and understanding on how the Toughbook 33’sshould be mounted.

4. Could you provide specific details regarding the placement of mounts within each vehicle?

Answer: Please see the attached pictures regarding placement. This will give you a better idea and understanding on how the Toughbook 33’sshould be mounted. On the fire and crash trucks, we would like a dash mount. On the Chief vehicles the tablets should be mounted to the side of the consol on the passenger side. I have also attached pictures of this.

5. How would you like the mounts to behave in terms of functionality and movement? Are there any preferences or requirements for the positioning and behavior of mounts in different vehicles?

• As far as I know there are not any set requirements on how the mounts should be installed.

6. For all mounting scenarios, can we consider tilt, swivel, and extend functionality, as well as clearance and height? What details do we need to understand to provide an accurate quote for mounting solutions?

Answer: For our apparatus and response vehicles, we would need swivel and possibly extend. Hopefully the photos can give you a better understanding on how the Toughbook’s should be mounted.

7. What color do you want docking station to be?

· BLACK

8. How long will the computers need to be delivered to your IT department before a tech can install the docking station in the vehicles? Deliver as soon as possible once contractor has verified that proper fitment of the Toughbook’s. There is more detailed processing that need to occur with preparing Toughbook’s for asset release. Once notified that Toughbook’s are at the IT Depot and ready for release, will coordinate with contracted vendor to arrange installation timeline.

Answer: The tech will need to ensure proper fitment, charging and angle of docking station by using Toughbook’s.

Answer: They could also do this before all Toughbook’s go to IT

9. Will there be a covered area for the technician to install the docking station in the vehicles?

Answer: YES
