About this file

This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the repair of two gearcase-motor assemblies (NSNs 3010-01-315-5139 and 3010-01-315-2424) issued by the Department of the Air Force, Directorate of Contracting at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The solicitation number is FA8250-26-Q-0785, with a quotation due date of September 10, 2026. The requirement is restricted to qualified sources per FAR 52.209-1, and non-qualified vendors must comply with qualification requirements to be considered. The work is performance-based repair and is deemed CMMC Level 2 compliant. The acquisition is not a small business set-aside, and supplies are of domestic origin unless otherwise indicated.

The RFQ includes eight contract line items (CLINs): CLIN 0001 and 0003 are Test, Teardown, and Evaluation (TT&E) activities for 12 units of NSN 5139 and 8 units of NSN 2424 respectively, with 30-day delivery windows; CLINs 0002 and 0004 are conditional repair CLINs (not-to-exceed pricing) with 90-day delivery timelines dependent on completion of TT&E; CLINs 0005 and 0006 are not separately priced data deliverables for Commercial Asset Visibility Air Force (CAVAF) reporting and Engineering Change Proposals; CLINs 0007 and 0008 are not separately priced technical reports and Repairable Item Inspection Reports. Award is on a firm fixed-price basis with prices held firm for 120 days. Evaluation is based on lowest total evaluated price from qualified sources, with price reasonableness and balance as assessment criteria. Offerors must comply with all FAR and DFARS clauses, cybersecurity maturity model certification requirements (CMMC Level 2), and submit proposals digitally via email or hardcopy via courier to the contracting specialist, Richard Maynard (richard.maynard.5@us.af.mil).
