About this file
This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Department of the Air Force, Directorate of Contracting at Hill Air Force Base, Utah for test, teardown, evaluation, and repair services on high-power amplifiers.
The solicitation FA8250-26-Q-0720, issued June 9, 2026, requires quotations by July 7, 2026 for work on two electronic component types: amplifiers (NSN 5996-01-530-0722) and radio frequency amplifiers (NSN 5996-01-530-2918). The requirement consists of ten line items including test and teardown evaluation of two units of the 0722 amplifier and four units of the 2918 amplifier, repair of two units of the 0722 and four units of the 2918, and delivery of required data deliverables (Commercial Asset Visibility Air Force reports, Repairable Item Inspection Reports, Counterfeit Prevention Plans, Engineering Change Proposals, test procedures, and test reports). This is a sole-source award to X Technologies with firm fixed pricing. The work is deemed performance-based, not an inherently government function, and requires CMMC Level 2 cybersecurity certification. The acquisition uses the lowest-priced evaluation method restricted to technically qualified offerors. All work must comply with ISO 9001-2015 standards, include Unique Item Identifiers (IUID) where required, and follow Commercial Asset Visibility Air Force (CAVAF) reporting protocols. Payment processing requires electronic submission through the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) system. The contractor is required to hold offered prices firm for 120 days and comply with standard FAR/DFARS clauses including those addressing inspection, acceptance, government property, cybersecurity maturity model certification, and various labor and compliance requirements.
