About this file
This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the U.S. Air Force for the procurement of a Housing Motor Assembly. The solicitation number is FA8226-26-Q-0274, issued by Benjamin J. Eddy at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The requirement is for 4 units of a Housing Motor Assembly (CLIN 0001, NSN 6105-00-072-5554, Part Number 2847, Manufacturer 98747) with a firm fixed price, and delivery is required by June 11, 2026. The delivery location is Hill AFB, Utah (FB2029, OO ALC DDHU CNTRL RCV, Building 849W). The RFQ indicates this is an extremely urgent requirement concerning flight and/or safety deficiency hazards, and the contractor must hold offered prices firm for 90 days. Quotations must include DD Form 1348-1A in packaging and should be submitted to Benjamin J. Eddy at Hill Air Force Base. The inspection and acceptance will occur at the destination (final), and supplies must be of domestic origin unless otherwise indicated.
The solicitation includes standard federal contract clauses covering representations and certifications, cybersecurity requirements (NIST SP 800-171), telecommunications equipment prohibitions, payment procedures via Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF), and various FAR/DFARS provisions. Evaluation will be based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) as the primary factor, with all other evaluation factors significantly more important than cost or price. The F.O.B. origin point requires the contractor to fill in the delivery address. The document references multiple exhibits including packaging requirements and transportation reports, all dated December 15, 2025. No specific set-aside for small business is indicated on the face of the RFQ.
