1 DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT

The 309 Aircraft Maintenance Group (AMXG) at Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) has a requirement to purchase two (2) F-35 cockpit engine run simulator training systems to fulfill training mission requirements. The cockpit simulators will be used to train depot mechanics on F-35 engine runs, emergency shutdown procedures, cockpit familiarization, and instrument panel layout.

2 PURCHASE SPECIFICATIONS

2.1 Description of Required Product(s)

Salient Characteristics:

• Full scale F-35 cockpit mock up

• Full scale F-35 seat

• Flight control system reset panels

2.2 Product Performance Requirements

The required simulator shall be a fully functional analog of the F-35 cockpit. The product must possess all features of the F-35 cockpit that will allow a maintenance technician to perform all tasks and procedures associated with engine runs and emergency shutdowns and to gain familiarity with general cockpit and instrument panel layout.

Product shall be of high quality fit and finish without loose or missing components.

Product shall be able to sustain normal use without defect.

2.3 Service Incidental to Product Delivery

No service component is required for delivery of these products.

2.4 Documentation and Data Requirement

The product shall include an engineering documentation package.

2.5 Warranty

No warranty specifics requested. Standard commercial warranty offered.

3 DELIVERY AND INSPECTION

3.1 Delivery Instructions

Products shall be delivered to the delivery address during normal business hours. Contractor shall notify government points of contact (PoC) when items are shipped and provide an expected delivery.

3.2 Inspection at Destination

Receiving customer at AMXG, Hill AFB will inspect products within five (5) business days of receipt. Any noted defects shall be remedied by the contractor before invoice will be inspected by the government.

3.3 Delivery Time

Products shall be shipped within 26 weeks following contract award.
