Roll Scan 300 Sensor

1.0 DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. The contractor shall provide all engineering, labor, equipment, tools, supplies and materials to evaluate and rebuild/repair Roll Scan 300 sensors. These sensors will be shipped at the government’s expense to the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for repair, calibration and testing. The contractor shall return the Roll Scan 300 to Hill AFB within 8 weeks. The work will be performed at the contractor’s facility in support of the 309th Commodities Maintenance Group, 532 CMMXS Landing Gear Squadron (309 CMXG) at Hill AFB, Utah.

2.0 REQUIREMENTS.

2.1 The contractor shall rebuild/repair the sensors to work as designed when reinstalled on the system. The contractor shall perform a preliminary evaluation of the sensors to determine the level of repair. These repairs shall include one or more of the following:

2.1.1 Sensor Repair - The contractor shall test, regrind, pre-wear, clean and tune the sensor and provide a certificate of repairs made and test results. (CDRL A001)

2.1.2 New Sensor Cable - The contractor shall provide a new sensor cable which will include testing, cleaning, tuning and provide a certificate of repairs made and test results. (CDRL A001)

2.1.3 Sensor Rebuild - The contractor shall rebuild the sensor which will include a new pickup coil, pickup and magnetizing ferrites, cable, regrinding and tuning and provide a certificate of repairs made and test results. (CDRL A001)

2.2 The contractor shall pack the sensor in its original packaging and return it at the contractor’s expense within 8-weeks of receipt to the following address:

2.3 The contractor shall provide the government with the standard OEM warranty for any parts repaired/replaced. The warranty will begin from the date the sensor is received by the government and final acceptance testing has been performed.

2.3 If the sensor does not pass final acceptance testing, the contractor shall repair and return the sensor to the government at the contractor’s expense within 8-weeks of receipt.

4. GENERAL INFORMATION

4.1 Government Furnished Property/ Equipment (GFP/GFE)

The government will ship the Roll Scan 300 Sensors to the contractor.

4.2 Labor Hours Reporting:

4.1.1 The contractor shall report ALL contractor labor hours (including subcontractor labor hours) required for performance of services provided under this contract for the repair of the Roll Scan 300 Sensor via a secure data collection site. The contractor is required to completely fill in all required data fields at http://www.ecmra.mil.

4.2.2 Reporting inputs will be for the labor executed during the period of performance for each Government fiscal year (FY), which runs 1 October through 30 September. While inputs may be reported any time during the FY, all data shall be reported no later than 31 October of each calendar year. Contractors may direct questions to the CMRA help desk.

4.2.2.1 Uses and Safeguarding of Information: Information from the secure web site is considered to be proprietary in nature when the identified contract number and contractor are associated with the direct labor hours and direct labor dollars. At no time will any data be released to the public with the contractor name and contract number associated with the data. User Manuals: Data for Air Force service requirements must be input at the Air Force CMRA link. However, user manuals for government personnel and contractors are available at the Army CMRA link at http://www.ecmra.mil.
