About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the destruction of Special Access Program (SAP) Information Technology (IT) equipment at Seymour Johnson AFB. The key objectives are to prevent unauthorized access to classified or sensitive information by sanitizing or destroying SAP IT equipment before its disposal.
The SOW outlines the mandatory requirements for the vendor, including providing all necessary equipment and labor, incineration and smelting at specific temperature thresholds to reduce the IT components to ash or disintegrated particles smaller than 2mm, securing a facility with 110W power, protecting the components during prep, having a government two-person integrity/escort during the process, and properly disposing of the waste. The vendor must also provide a written receipt documenting the destruction details. The entire process must be completed during normal business hours over consecutive days. The related federal contract opportunity is a pre-solicitation notice to industry for future acquisitions related to this IT Equipment Destruction requirement.

• All SAP IT components are required to be reduced to ash or disintegrated smaller than 2mm in particle size.
• A secure facility and 110 W power is provided by Seymour Johnson AFB; if other power needs are required to operate destruction equipment, vendor is to provide this information during bidding so Seymour Johnson AFB can verify power usage is available.
• Protection of SAP IT components at all stages of prep prior to destruction.
• A government two-person Integrity/escort during the sanitation process at all stages of collection and destruction.
• Vendor is required to take IT waste product and dispose of wase in accordance with local laws.

5. Accountability & Logistics: Vendor will provide cleared professionals for accountability and two-person integrity (TPI) throughout the entire destruction process to ensure positive quality control from inventory validation, initial de-manufacturing of equipment and separation of materials though the final destruction and disposition process. The government agency requesting the service will provide appropriately cleared personnel to be available during the actual destruction at the designated site.
