STATEMENT OF WORK

SERVICE CONTRACT FOR SNOW REMOVAL

9-19-08

1. The contractor shall:

a. Provide manpower and all equipment (temporary lighting, generators, snow-blowers, loaders, trucks and etc.) needed for expedient snow removal.

b. Shall be on-call, or report on an as-needed basis.

c. Shall arrive on the work site within one hour of notification by the Civil Engineering Customer Service personnel.

d. Remove snow from the areas designated by the Contracting Officer’s representative at Hill Air Force Base Utah. Snow is not to be plowed against docking areas, dumpsters, fire hydrants, fences or as to block driveways or sidewalks. During a heavy snowfall it may be required for snow to be loaded on trucks and deposited at a site on Base as designated by the Contracting Officer’s representative at Civil Engineering.

e. Be paid based on man-hours worked at the current wage determination, Occupation Code 11030 – General Services and Support Occupations, 11210 – Laborer, Grounds Maintenance.

f. Contractor will adhere to all posted speed limits and traffic signals on Hill Air Force Base Utah. Any and all damaged caused by fault of the contractor to vehicles, road signs, sidewalks, guardrails, fences, facilities or any real property will be the responsibility of the contractor. In the event that damage does occur the contractor will be responsible for repairs or replacement of equal quality/quantity to replace the damaged item(s).

g. The contractor shall adhere to all OSHA regulations.
