De-ionized Water Purification Systems

PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION

The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the labor, tools, equipment, test equipment, material, parts, quality control, transportation and inspection manuals necessary to perform the Lease and Maintenance of De-ionized Water Purification Systems (DI WPS) at the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex (OC-ALC). The Contractor shall be responsible for ensuring all services, parts, and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) components provided under this contract are in accordance with (IAW) the terms and conditions outlined herein, conform to the manufacturer’s equipment specifications, and this PWS. The Government’s acquisition strategy is for a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Multi-Year Contract.

This service ensures the availability and proper operation of DI WPS for various cleaning and rinsing of equipment for 76th Commodities Maintenance Group (76 CMXG) and 76th Propulsion Maintenance Group (76 PMXG). These DI units provide cleaning/rinsing equipment with the purified water necessary to be compliant with technical data and effectively perform cleaning/rinsing of parts. Without this water purity, 76 CMXG and 76 PMXG would not be able to comply with technical data specifications and possibly damage equipment due to the high chloride content and conductivity in potable water.
