About this file
This Performance Work Statement (PWS) details a Test, Teardown, and Evaluation (TT&E) service for an Atlas Copco HMH84 3000 HP Centrifugal Air Compressor Core at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. The 76th Maintenance Support Group requires a comprehensive inspection to diagnose and identify issues affecting equipment performance and reliability, with the goal of determining root causes of malfunctions and potential preventive maintenance strategies.
The contractor must systematically disassemble the compressor core, perform precision cleaning and non-destructive inspections, record critical component dimensions, and generate a detailed Component Disassembly Report (CDR) with high-quality images and written observations. Within 15 business days after inspection, the contractor must submit an evaluation report to the Government Point of Contact (GPOC) and Contracting Officer, including testing information, repair recommendations, required parts, and part numbers. The work will be performed off-base by an Atlas Copco trained technician, with strict environmental compliance, safety protocols, and documentation requirements throughout the process.
