About this file

This document is a sole source justification for preventive maintenance and calibration services for a Singleton SCCH Salt Fog Chamber located at Tinker Air Force Base. The 76th MXSG at Tinker Air Force Base requires annual preventive maintenance, calibration, and inspection of temperature, humidity, and pressure sensors for the salt fog chamber to ensure proper functionality and performance. The original equipment manufacturer, Singleton Corporation, advised they do not have any authorized service providers for this equipment and only qualified Singleton technicians are approved to work on the chamber. As a result, the justification argues Singleton Corporation is the only vendor that can meet the government's requirement. Market research of Dynamic Small Business Search, System for Award Management, and relevant NAICS codes did not identify any other small businesses capable of providing the needed preventive maintenance and calibration services for this salt fog chamber.
