Q2. We did not see the life cycle of the filters. All of our machines have a five-year filter.
Please choose from the following machines that would best serve your needs.
A2. The requirement is for vacuum systems equipped with suction hoses capable of directly connecting to air-driven sanding equipment. The attachments show air purification equipment that will not be acceptable.
Q3. Environment classification: Is the area Class I Division 2 (gas/vapor) or Class II Division 2 (dust)?
A3. Per Sections 1.1.1. and 1.2.1 of the Item Description posted on SAM, equipment “Shall be third party certified Explosion Proof for operation in Class 1 Division 1 Group D environments”
Q4. Power preference: Would you prefer an electric or pneumatic unit?
A4. Per Sections 1.1.2. and 1.2.2 of the Item Description posted on SAM, equipment “Shall operate on 460 volt 60 hertz, 3 phase alternating current power and be compatible with explosion proof connector. All vacuum models shall have Appleton ACP3034BC plugs on the electrical supply cords.”
Q5. Estimated material volume to be collected during typical operation:
A5. Per Sections 1.1.10. and 1.2.10 of the Item Description posted on SAM, equipment “Shall have a dust recovery tank with a volume no less than 14 gallons and no more than 15 gallons.”
