TINKER AIR FORCE BASE OKLAHOMA
Item Description
Flatbed Kitting Trailers
76 AMXG is requesting the purchase of thirty (30) flatbed trailers. Attachment 1 shows photos of the current trailers being used for reference. Each trailer must meet the following specifications:
· Trailer Deck Dimension of 48” X 120”
· Deck contructed of 2x4 or 2x6 pressure treated lumber
· Lumber shall be held down with a steel lip around the parameter
· Front axle with 360 degrees of rotation with a greesable fitting (no suspension required)
· Fixed rear axle (no suspension required)
· Tow bar length from trailer shall be between 4ft and 4 ½ft
· Luna ring on tow bar
· Ring shall have 6” outside diameter and 3” inside diameter
· 15 Ton (welded) pintle hook with secure pin on rear of trailer
· Secure pin shall be connected to base of pintle hook hitch with cable or steel wire
· Trailers must be able to be towed in tandem
· Trailers shall have a steel frame
· Sandblasted and Powder Coated Safety Yellow or Bright Yellow
· Trailers must have at least a 1500lb load capacity
· Trailers must have Forklift Solid Pneumatic Tires, no less than 18" overall height
· Trailers must have 4 tie down points on each side and 2 per front and rear for a total of 12 points
· Tie down points shall be sized to accept a 2x4 piece of lumber
· Deck height shall be between 22” and 24” from the ground
· Trailers must have eight (8) pieces of 3”x5” white reflective tape (two on each side) evenly spaced
· Trailers should have six (6) Trailer Specification Plates installed in the following locations:
· Two (2) on each side, centered and evenly spaced
· One (1) on front, centered above pintle hook and One (1) centered on the rear
· Trailer Specification Plates must be stamped with the following:
· Load Capacity, Overall Length, Overall Width, Overall Height, Trailer Weight, Tire Size, Tire Pressure, Wheelbase and Max Operating Speed image1.wmf
