Question 1. Updated CUIL Excel spreadsheet, line 356, item number 3075V-AL. The manufacturer needs to know what the model number is of the machine being used that needs this filter housing.
Response 1. The model number is 3075 V AL
Question 2. Updated CUIL Excel spreadsheet, lines 2944, 2946, 2948, and 2950, item numbers
CB390A, CB381A, CB383A, CB382A. These are not Lexmark part numbers, but are Hewlett
Packard numbers. Do want these items from Hewlett Packard, or are there other item numbers that you have for the Lexmark?
Response 2. The manufacture will be updated to Hewlett Packard in the CUIL for the following
ELIN’s, ED13-CB390A, ED14-CB381A, ED15-CB383A, and ED16-CB382A.
Question 3. Updated CUIL Excel spreadsheet, line 4737, item number SNS-
RDS.132ROUND27PUNCH. The manufacturer needs to know what machine this part is being used on, since it is a custom part. What type of machine or model number is being used with this custom part by Roper Whitney?
Response 3. Model 134. Jerry Yeruski (Roper Whitney) created this part number specifically for
Tinker to order this special punch.
Question 4. Updated CUIL Excel spreadsheet, lines 5092 and 5093, item numbers
CP1.00TH#316 and CP.75TH#316. Are the actual part numbers CP1.00TH300#316 and
CP.75TH3000#316?
Response 4. The part numbers will change in the CUIL, ELIN EP46, Manufacturer P/N to
CP1.00TH150#316 and ELIN EP69, Manufacturer P/N to CP.75TH150#316.
Question 5. Updated CUIL Excel spreadsheet, line 5416-5418, item numbers 248729, 911003, and 937500. What are the exact part numbers and/or descriptions for the items requested? Are there any part numbers that will be a suitable substitute for these items?
Response 5. The part numbers listed are the Vacu-blast standard part numbers. All proposed subs will need to be addressed by the process identified in the Instruction to offerors (52.212-1)
3.2.5. Subfactor 3: Common Use Item List b).
Question 6. Updated CUIL Excel Spreadsheet, lines 4263-4266, item numbers 88-04988, 88-
0212, HC-552-P20F, and 88-04987. Can you please provide the specific equipment that is being used with these items? Is there perhaps a different manufacturer for these items?
Response 6. Progressive Surface Water Jet SN#9458. • All proposed subs will need to be addressed by the process identified in the Instruction to offerors (52.212-1) 3.2.5. Subfactor 3:
Common Use Item List b).
Question 7. Updated CUIL Excel Spreadsheet, line 4723, item number RGA-HR42-0004BU.
What type of hose will this reel be used for? Is there perhaps a different manufacturer name or part number associated with this item?
Response 7. Hannay brand, the part number is from Rubber & Gasket of America (RGA). All proposed subs will need to be addressed by the process identified in the Instruction to offerors
(52.212-1) 3.2.5. Subfactor 3: Common Use Item List b).
Question 8. Updated CUIL Excel Spreadsheet, line 5455, item number 980627-776467-G1.
This item only comes in clear, not black plastic. Was it the tube that was needed in black, or the caps?
Response 8. The tubes are clear. The black is referencing the caps.
Question 9. Updated CUIL Excel spreadsheet, line 3517, item number 50N002P0. What product does this filter go to? What is the model number of the machine/product that is being used with this filter?
Response 9. Progressive Surface Water Jet SN#9458.
Question 10. Updated CUIL Excel spreadsheet, lines 5222-5227, item numbers 6XP048158, 6XP048138, 6XP048058, 6XP048118, 6XP048218, AND 6XP048078. The part numbers do not coincide with the measurements in the description. Are we to go by the part number provided and those measurements, or by the measurements in the description?
Response 10. The part numbers are correct based on the copper pipe size. The Thermacel cut sheet verified this information.
Question 11. Please confirm that all Items listed in the “5. LIST OF ATTACHMENTS (RFP
Pages 64-65)” are to be attached to the “Model Contract (SF 1449)” which will result in a document that will be close to 2,000 pages in length.
Response 11. Table 2.3 on page 4 of Attachment 1 Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 identifies
Volume I includes a CD containing Exhibit 1 and Exhibit 2. Paragraph 2.6 of Attachment 1 further explains (Exception: Exhibit 1, Exhibit 2, and substitution specifications will be submitted on Compact Disc only; hard copies are not required.)
Question 12. As part of the Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) will the Government provide the following information regarding the Warehouse Facility?
Approximate square footage of warehouse facility
Approximate ceiling height of warehouse facility
Number of in-place storage units
Approximate height of storage units
Number of Shelves per unit
Approximate square footage of shelves
Approximate weight bearing capacity of shelves
Approximate square footage available for additional storage units
Response 12. Government Furnished Property is identified in Appendix B of the PWS and includes four laptops with docking stations. The items identified in this question are considered
Government Shared Property as explained in PWS Para 3.2.1. Additionally, available details concerning Government Shared Property are outlined in PWS Para 3.2.1.1 – 3.2.1.6.
Question 13. The Government requires that the Offeror provide the time period for the validity of Offer to be inserted in Volume IV -- Contract Documentation. What is the time period the
Government requires for the validity of the Offer to the Government?
Response 13. The Government does not have a specific time period for the validity of the Offer other than ensuring Offer is still valid at the time of award.
Question 14. Will the Government please provide the SF 1449 and Amendment 001 & 002 in
Word so that data can be entered on the forms for inclusion in Volume IV - Contract
Documentation?
Response 14. The documents are provided in PDF form to prevent manipulation and ensure data/signatures are submitted in “wet ink.”
Question 15. Attachment 1–ITO, Table 2.3 Proposal Organization, Volume I, ITO Para.
Number 3.2.3 Resource Management and 3.2.4 Program Management. Volume 1 Technical shows that there is a 35-page limit plus CD containing Exhibit 1 and Exhibit 2, and substitution specifications. The Table shows that Resource Management and Program Managed are
Unlimited in page count. These two references are two of the three subfactors making up the volume, with the third subfactor provided on CD. What is the page limit for Volume 1?
Response 15. The page limit for Volume 1 is 35 pages. Exhibit 1, Exhibit 2, and any substitution specifications are to be submitted on CD. There is no limit on the number of pages used for individual subfactors within Volume 1 provided the total number of pages of Volume 1 does not exceed 35.
Question 16. Attachment 1–ITO, Table 2.3 Proposal Organization, Volume I, CD containing
Exhibit 1, Exhibit 2; Attachment 1–ITO, 5.7, Section 3. Table 2.3 indicates that Exhibits 1 and 2 are included in Volume I Technical, but in Section 3 of Paragraph 5.7, the instructions indicated
Exhibits 1 and 2 will be included in Volume III Price. Also, in ITO Para. 3.2.5 only Exhibit 1 is referenced. Please clarify where to include the exhibits and in which volume.
Response 16. Exhibit 1 and Exhibit 2 are to be submitted on CD and included in both Volume I and Volume III.
