FA8125-14-R-0001 Conference/Site Visit Q&A’s
1. Does Tinker AFB currently have any contracts, agreements, or restrictions in place as to where your service provider must buy the products on the CUIL list?
Yes, there are several instances which require restrictions on how to purchase items. In the CUIL the 282 Brand Name Only items must be purchased without substitution. Also, in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) paragraph 1.4.2, the government references Office Supplies (OS), please read the PWS paragraph. Office supplies will be purchased through Ability One. However, these items can be purchased through the local Ability One presence on Tinker Air Force Base which is San Antonio Light House of the Blind.
2. Who is responsible for any new equipment installation during the life of this contract?
The contractor is not responsible for installation of new POU equipment. The government is responsible for the installation of the POU equipment.
3. Who is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep on the current Autocrib equipment and any new that may be added during the contract period?
The contractor is not responsible for maintenance of the POU equipment. The government is responsible for the maintenance of the POU equipment.
4. Are there any restrictions placed on the contractor who wins this bid and that company’s ability to still chase any other bids, e-buys, micro purchases, or contracts at Tinker while supporting this contract?
None.
5. Can you break down the items on Exhibit 1 by percentage where the products are bought and or owned by the contractor and the government?
With exception to the items listed above, where the CUIL Exhibit 1 items are purchased is up to the contractor.
The government takes ownership of the items once they are placed into an automated POU location and signed by the POC, or in the case of a manual order, once the items have been delivered to and signed for at the specific manual location.
6. Are there any provisions for or exceptions to normal policies for freight? None
7. Are there any additional vendors or channels that the products on Exhibit 1 come through outside of the current service provider and government contracting?
The items listed in the CUIL on the contract should be purchased for the OC-ALC through the contract vehicle.
8. Are we allowed to chase sub-contracting opportunities with the winner of this contract if we are not successful in winning the contract?
Yes
9. Can you tell us the total package current spends of the CUIL?
This cannot be disclosed as it is considered proprietary information.
