About this file
This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Department of the Air Force, Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) for a KC-135 Directional Sleeve. The solicitation (FA8118-25-Q-0008) seeks the procurement of National Stock Number (NSN) 1650-00-332-7085, with a minimum order quantity of 3 and a maximum of 20 units. The sleeve is a steel component designed to regulate hydraulic fluid flow, with specific manufacturer part numbers 81205 6-61567 and 81205 60-4340-1.
The RFQ specifies delivery to DLA Distribution Depot Hill in Utah, with a required delivery date of 11 January 2027. The procurement is not a small business set-aside, and contractors must comply with various cybersecurity and telecommunications equipment restrictions. Offerors are required to have a current NIST SP 800-171 DoD Assessment with a summary level score of 110 posted in the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS). Quotations are due by 28 July 2025, and the government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation if funds are not available. Price is the primary evaluation factor, with an emphasis on economic purchase quantity and potential price breaks.
