SUPPLIES OR SERVICES AND PRICES/COSTS
(a) Basic repair requirements in accordance with the PWS: “As received” Test, Teardown, Evaluate (TTE) and deliver shop findings report to the government contracting officer (as described in paragraph 1.4.1). The contracting officer will disseminate the shop findings report to the appropriate technical and logistics personnel for review. The government will, in return, provide instruction to the contractor concerning the continued course of action based on the asset condition and government demand for the asset. If the asset is determined to be repairable then repair activity shall follow the procedures as described in the TO or OEM procedures. Regardless of initial (TTE) results, a complete and full acceptance test of end-item asset following reassembly is required to bring the asset to a serviceable condition. If any component part does not meet inspection requirements as specified in the applicable technical documents, or if there is any doubt as to its serviceability or longevity, the Contractor shall replace the component if it cannot be restored to a serviceable condition.
(b) Commercial Asset Visibility Air Force (CAVAF) Reporting: CAV AF is a web based system used to permit the reporting of Government Furnished Material (GFM) transactions during the execution of Contract Depot Maintenance contracts for the purpose of providing visibility of assets.
