DAFL YOUTH BOOK POINT PLAN Q&A

1.) May we provide a discount off catalog for the unit price? Yes

2.) I see that the solicitation is 100% Small Business Set Aside. Our firm is not a small business. Is there any possibility that this requirement could be modified to include all bidders?

Not at this time, we will notify you if the solicitation is reopened to all bidders.

3.) The solicitation references book and audiobook formats. May the vendor offer separate plans for Book and for Audiobook plans, or must a single plan cover both formats?

This is one plan for both

4.) There is a reference to “covered and uncovered” materials, but a later notation that no technical or physical processing is required. Please clarify if any processing services are to be included, and identify the components required. Are mylar jackets/cover laminate for paperbacks required processing?

Covered and Uncovered books are paperbacks that have a laminate cover added to the book to make it sturdier and last longer. Often these are also rebounded books. Technical processing refers to cataloging items and adding mylar jackets to hardback books.
