2019 Global Medical Readiness Symposium Questions

Q1
With an event this size, I am estimating that the event has between 150 - 175 speakers. Normally for events with large amounts of speakers, a speaker management tool is also used which allows speakers to upload their bio, photo and session description that links directly to the agenda. In addition, the system allows for the collection of all PowerPoint presentations. This system is managed by a Speaker Manager that coordinates all speakers and presentations for the entire event including VIP services. Is this something that the Global Medical Readiness Symposium has used in the past or would find beneficial?
A1
A speaker management system will not be required.
Q2
Will there be a fee for Registration? If yes, are the registration fees used to offset the cost of the event incurred by the contractor or are the funds to be returned to the government?
A2
There is no registration fee.
Q3
Will the welcome packet be created and provided by HAF or is the contractor to work with the planning team to put together the packet and cover the cost of printing?
A3
The welcome packet will be created and provided by HAF.
Q4
Will a rooming list be provided for the suites? Will the attendees staying in the suites be paying for the upgrade or is that to be included in the cost of the contract?
A4
A rooming list will be provided for all registered attendees. Upgrades will NOT be included in the cost of the contract.
