STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

CE Land Survey Equipment 8 July 2024

1. Introduction: Land survey equipment and software is required to integrate and interface with current Trimble training and contingency equipment sets. Trimble compatible survey equipment and software is also required for interoperability between the United States Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, and Navy. In all scenarios, wartime readiness and base civil engineering capability is most significant in obtaining this specific equipment and software. Of substantial importance is meeting the equipment and software requirements to fully integrate with the current Department of Defense equipment and software inventory.

2. Scope:

2.1. The contractor shall supply, package, and deliver the required equipment and software (in various configurations). Additionally, due to the complexity of the equipment, the contractor may also be asked to provide training to the immediate receiving units or as part of a regional training plan if implemented by the government. The government recognizes that regional training may be an additional requirement line item if the location of the training event is not also a receiving unit during the current AFIMSC or AFCEC centralized purchase plan.

2.2. The specifications for some of the required items are listed in Appendix 1. Additional item information is available from the Trimble website, https://www.trimble.com/en.

3. SCHEDULE, DATA ITEMS, AND OTHER DELIVERABLES

3.1 The contractor shall begin work immediately after receipt of order. As requested, the contractor will participate in a government-sponsored kick-off call with the receiving units and government team to discuss pertinent logistics details and training arrangements as applicable.

3.2. Radio Frequency Compatibility. The contractor shall ensure radio frequencies are pre-loaded for each survey receiver radio, per defined radio frequency spectrum in coordination with the government team. The government team will assist with the gathering of approved installation level frequencies and provide them to the contractor.

3.3 Technical Support. The contractor shall provide technical support for 120 days after each order is complete. This is needed to ensure all items on the purchase order are delivered to the receiving units and operating as intended by the manufacturer.

3.4. Monthly Status Report. The contractor shall provide, per purchase order, a monthly status of procured, shipped, delivered and delivery schedules to Technical Advisor outlined in paragraph 5 below. The format for this report shall be of a standard commercially available file type (MS Word, pdf, etc.) that shall be agreed upon by both parties at time of initial award and must be a continuation document encompassing all previous reports per purchase order. This report must include asset type, model, purchase date, serial number, unit, and installation. The first report shall be due thirty (30) calendar days after purchase order finalization and no later than 1200 CST the first Monday of each month thereafter until all deliveries are completed. This report will serve to track all orders for United States Air Force, Category Management, Category Four.

4. SHIPPING

4.1. Deliveries. Deliveries under this contact are to Main Operating Base (MOB), Forward Operating Base (FOB) destinations, deployment equipment warehouses and any regional training locations including Silver Flag, Red Horse squadron locations. The contractor shall employ packaging and shipping techniques to prevent any damage from rough transport either by land, sea, or air. The contractor shall handle expenditures associated with damage incurred during shipping to include repair or replacement of damaged items. A list of potential shipping locations is given in Appendix 2.

4.2. Destination POC. The contractor shall contact the applicable installation POC prior to shipment to give the installation a formal notification of an upcoming delivery and to verify the delivery address. The contractor shall also provide product and/or delivery schedule information.

4.3. External Tracking. The contractor shall make available to the Government all automated tracking information employed by the shipping agencies (i.e., web-based search engines, posted manufacture spreadsheets, etc.).

4.4. Shipping costs. Firm fixed pricing
