Our office has received a number of questions regarding the Solicitation for JBAB School Bus Services. As such, we are posting this document for all to see on Sam.gov, so that everyone can see the questions asked and answered so far. The final day for questions is June 14, 2021. Please ask all questions by then. Proposals are due by 2:00pm EST on June 24, 2021.
1. Is there a contractor presently performing the same or similar work (incumbent contract)? If so, what is the contract number and name of the vendor?
· Yes, the current contract, which was awarded by the Navy, is N40080-20-P-0027 and it was awarded to Benons LLC DBA as Falcon Transportation.
2. How would you like the proposal submitted?
· Please send via email to Jillian.Marconi@us.af.mil and Michael.Staskowiak@us.af.mil.
3. What format should we submit proposals: Word or PDF?
· Please see the new attachment called JBAB School Bus Pricing Spreadsheet. This is to be filled out by you and submitted with your pricing per CLIN per Route per Year. This must be submitted with your proposal. For any other materials you submit, it does not matter if you submit in Word or PDF, so long as it is readable and you email all of it to us by the deadline.
4. Do you want us to present our pricing by listing the CLINS the way you have it in description?
· Yes, we want pricing per CLIN per Route per Year. Please see the new attachment called JBAB School Bus Pricing Spreadsheet. This is to be filled out by you and submitted with your pricing per CLIN per Route per Year. Please read the instructions and find this in relevant part.
a. The offeror’s price proposal shall include a unit cost for each route, consisting of the price for one bus and driver(s) and routine cleaning for each such route at a monthly rate. The offeror’s extended price will be the annual amount for each CLIN. This price should not reflect any costs associated with additional health and wellness cleaning (see paragraph b.).
5. Can we get a site visit to help us map the routes?
· No, these are not being conducted at this time. The company awarded the contract will receive more information upon award.
6. Is there allowance for the pricing to cover wages, overheads, etc. during summer breaks, holidays, etc.?
· We are looking for prices to be submitted per CLIN per Route per Year. Please factor in all such things in your pricing.
