About this file

This document is a Sources Sought notice for a federal contract opportunity to design, test, and qualify a gas sampling and collection system. The Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC) is conducting market research for this requirement, which was originally published on SAM.gov in April 2023.

The updated Sources Sought is seeking information on contractors' capabilities to research, develop, test, and evaluate a gas sampling and collection system that meets the requirements in the draft System Requirements Document (SRD). Interested firms are requested to submit a capabilities statement package demonstrating their ability to produce up to two Low-Rate Initial Production (LRIP) units within a $4.5 million budget. Responses must be submitted by 1 PM Eastern on August 21, 2024. The government may use the information obtained to determine the acquisition approach, but this notice does not constitute a formal solicitation. A SECRET facility clearance and personnel security clearances are required to support classified work on this contract.
