QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
4 June 2024
1. What is considered walking distance from Pentagon?
ANSWER: 20 min walk from the nearest public transit (Metro/Bus) is the limit.
2. Is Pentagon City considered within walking distance of the Pentagon? Or within acceptable transit?
ANSWER: 2. Yes, Pentagon City is within walking distance and there is a Metro stop at the Mall to shorten the walk if needed.
3. The Pricing template - are the courses to be priced separately? The NSP has been removed.
ANSWER: The courses are to be separately priced in accordance with the new solicitation ITOs.
4. After a quick review of the PWS, I gather that this will be in person training, at the venue the training company chooses, and the venue should be in close proximity to the Pentagon. The quote will be inclusive of the logistical expenses of Instructor travel, conference room, lunch/refreshments, instructor hotel accommodation etc.
Additionally, is virtual training an option that we could offer?
ANSWER: Yes the training must be in-person and not virtual. Location is to be at the contractor facility within close proximity to the Pentagon/public transit. Quote should be inclusive of all that is required to execute the required tasks. VIRTUAL training is NOT an option.
