About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for the USAFA DFME Vehicle Testing Analysis Suite (Solicitation FA700025Q0095). The Q&A provides clarification on key technical requirements for the vehicle testing equipment. Specifically, the document addresses three main questions: (1) the types of vehicles to be tested (FSAE and passenger vehicles) and testing purposes (engine tuning, vehicle characterization, class demonstrations and labs), (2) coupling requirements (preferring compatibility with 4-hole, 5-hole, and 6-hole rims), and (3) CAN connection needs (not a required characteristic but welcome if included). The United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) encourages vendors to submit multiple quotes that may offer additional functionalities beyond the minimum specifications, indicating flexibility in potential solution approaches.
